Virtual Fundraisers

On behalf of the Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham and the Love Local: Virtual Cooking Class Fundraiser planning team, thank you for your support of our first virtual fundraiser presentation! Through your contribution, you helped us raise over $900.00! This feat is particularly impressive given the current circumstances.

We enjoyed having fun and working with you to support the Varley Art Gallery of Markham. We would especially like to thank Caterable Inc. for allowing us to use their Caterable Cafe, located at the Markham Civic Centre, for filming. Laura Leparulo and Linda Mauti from Caterable Inc. presented such an exciting and interactive cooking demonstration! It was such a treat to watch and follow along with them.

The Varley Art Gallery has experienced an extended closure due to the pandemic and we thank all our attendees and donors for joining us in helping raise much needed funds to assist the Varley Art Gallery. We are so pleased that even just a few days’ post-event we have received amazing feedback from many attendees! We are thankful for the continuous support from our incredible community.
